Jenny Barker

Jenny qualified from the University of east Anglia in 2008. Since qualifying Jenny has extensive experience from both the NHS and private practice across multiple disciplines including musculoskeletal, respiratory, women’s health, acute medicine, and intensive care, before specialising in musculoskeletal physiotherapy. For the next 10 years Jenny has treated a variety of conditions including paediatrics, acute injuries, sports injuries, and pregnancy related pain, enhancing her skills within these areas.

Jenny is currently a clinical specialist in Hand Therapy at Southend Hospital working closely with Orthopaedic and plastic hand surgeons. This has enhanced her skills as a hand therapist treating a variety of hand complaints, including sports injuries, fractures, Osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis and post operative patients.
